In 2012, Lazarus was diagnosed with a cataract. Fortunately for Lazarus, ORBIS had recently provided state-of-the-art equipment, refurbished the children’s ward and is also providing ongoing training for the pediatric eye care team at Kitwe Eye Hospital in Kitwe, Zambia. A year later, his teachers report that he is more talkative and confident.
