“Through the ORBIS Lens” is a collection of photos showcasing the issues surrounding global eye health. Each week ORBIS will share our best photographs highlighting our efforts to eliminate avoidable blindness around the world.
“I hope my girls will now have a good education and be able to play and take part in all the normal games with their friends,” said Mrs. Mwika. Sisters Lucy, Beauty and Memory all had cataracts in both their eyes. They received surgery thanks to an ORBIS training program with Kitwe Eye Hospital in Kitwe, Zambia.
