Hai, 5-years-old, eagerly smiles as he patiently waits to be treated for his pediatric glaucoma by long-time ORBIS volunteer Dr. James Brandt from UC Davis. Glaucoma is often referred to as "the sneak thief of sight" since there are no symptoms and once vision is lost, it's permanent. As much as 40% of vision can be lost without a person noticing.
